Wedding At Top Of The Bay | Aberdeen, Maryland

Real Wedding Description

Jesse and Kayo got married at the Top of the Bay, a beautiful old officers club tucked away on the sprawling property of the Aberdeen Proving Grounds.

I started my shoot, as I often do, with some getting ready photos. One of my favorite images from this part of the day is where Jesse and his groomsmen are watching a YouTube video to help them figure out how to fold a hankerchief. Later I photographed their ceremony, which was held on an outdoor deck with a  spectacular view of the upper reaches of the Chesapeake. (Among its other virtues, our Navy really knows how to find beautiful real estate!) 

After the ceremony we shot some quick outdoor portraits of the couple and their families. For the reception, we moved inside the club for drinks and food, hilarious toasts and an impressive guitar serenade from Jesse's brother.  Then more drinking and dancing --- and next thing you know Kayo and Jesse were floating above the crowd like rock stars!
